Development Agency
The integration of mixed uses to optimise planning permission, incorporate affordable housing and maximise profit is central to the team’s advice to clients buying development land and buildings for value. Large and complex development sites have been appraised and taken forward for development management by team members involving major infrastructure, reclamation and remediation works.
In the last quarter, sites were acquired with over 500,000 sq.ft. (46,500m2) of mixed use development area, with a completed value of around £170,000,000 (€128,000,000).
Consultancy
Objective advice is provided to assess the operational needs of major residential space users; usually large corporates and sovereign governments. Proposed development projects are appraised for secured lending purposes.
Pre-planning and pre-disposal advice is also provided, independently of any agency instructions.
In January advice was requested from an overseas investor on sites with potential for over 4,000,000 sq.ft. (372,000m2) of mixed use development; the report was delivered within 10 days. Advice is currently being provided to sovereign governments on the rationalisation of UK residential property holdings.
