Martin Walker is involved in the expansion and sustainability of the company's consultancy and agency services throughout EMEA.
Recent Successes
Martin has concluded numerous resort and urban mixed-used schemes and provided advice from initial site purchase, through the development process to successful end sales.
Some of his recent successes include:
· Taymouth Castle, Scotland - A redevelopment to provide a 5 star hotel, approximately 100 residential units and supporting leisure facilities on one of Europe's most historically important privately owned Estates.
· Halikarnas Resort, Turkey - The valuation and consultancy to provide an international resort comprising 3 hotels, over 1,000 residential units and associated commercial and leisure facilities.
· 22 Marsh Wall, London - The sale of a 2 acre development site in London's Docklands for redevelopment to provide 4 residential and commercial tower blocks comprising over 200 residential units.
· Nordre Jarlsberg Brygge AS, Norway - The introduction of development finance for a major development site outside Oslo. The development will comprise a 120 key hotel along with 1,600 residential units and 12,000sqm of commercial accommodation.
· Royal Everglades, Mauritius - The valuation and consultancy on a 200 ha site on the north east coast of the island. The development is to include a 5 star hotel along with approximately 1,000 residential units and associated leisure facilities.
General
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield Residential in 2004 Martin worked on the commercial side of the business where he provided advice on all stages of the development process for large mixed-use schemes within the UK and Europe. His client list includes high net worth individuals, institutions and public and private corporations.
